The Royal Scottish Academy 200 Anniversary
In 2026 The Royal Scottish Academy celebrates its 200 Anniversary with RSA 200: Celebrating Together. The RSA will be highlighting the work of academicians across Scotland.
Sivell Murals Discussion
On 1st November the University of Aberdeen hosted FOSMA at the Sir Duncan Rice Library, where Dr Mary Pryor from the University gave an interesting presentation on the Sivell murals to a group of Friends and supporters.
Protection for the paintings
In 2007 specialised paper was applied to protect the paintings.
This summer FOSMA asked Karen Dunbar from Scottish Wall Paintings Conservators for advice.
