The link with the murals is that Sivell and at least 2 of his assistants were elected RSAs. They were Gordon Cameron and Alberto Morrocco – two Aberdeen born artists who also contributed significantly to the landmark textbook –  Anatomy of the Human Body by Lockhart, Hamilton & Fyfe.
